There are three types of coolants It is requested that today’s video will be lengthy so it is requested to watch it till end A detailed technical discussion will be made in it It is a complicated formulation but is an excellent one You are requested to like share and subscribe our channel to propagate our voice to new friends Three types of coolant technologies available in the market IAT, OAt & HOAT What is IAT Coolant Technology? What is OAT Coolant Technology and what is HOAT Coolant Technology? As obvious with the name that in the IAT Coolant we have to add inorganic additives or acids First of all we will try to understand and formulate the IAT Coolant Technology We will give the exact percentage of all the ingredients. as for lab grade formulation it is difficult to arrange huge quantities As we are giving a lab demonstration But is it is tested and established formulation And are excellent car care coolant products You can use it for your own cars and even on commercial level as well with your branding or even in loose also. First we will give you percentages We have adopted same percentage quantities in small batch formulation Quantities will also be shown on the screen We have to take water 44.9% (45%) in it As we have designed a small formulation so it become 112.25 ml We have taken it precisely 112.25 ml After taking the water we will add the ingredient one by one We want to tell you that we have already given a powdered anti rust coolant formulation In all of out three coolant category we will discuss Anti rust and anti freeze part and additionally a third part also Which is not usually available in the market But I am not claiming that I am the first to introduce it We will add antifoam in it as well it is to be cleared that the intention to add antifoam in it is that as the water circulate in the circuit from water body as there are added the additives in it

Foaming is possible with some additives Those who understand Chemistry and Engineering in depth That water bubbles create vacuum inside and create problem there And steam phase will be more in the cooling circuit We want to reduce the steam phase And water phase must dominate And less bubble to form A minor quantity of antifoam will be there in it Our first ingredient of anti rust part is Sodium meta silicate will be added just 2% in it 5 gram in this formulation Added just 5 gram approximately and dissolve it The gray metal in the circuit of the car The head of the vehicle is made of gray metal May be of aluminum and cast iron Sodium meta silicate is an excellent corrosion inhibitor for all these gray metals Will dissolve it, will take some time Next ingredient is Trisodium Phosphate, we can add hexameta phosphate as well Trisodium Phosphate @2% equal to 2.5 gram Will dissolve in it also It is to make sure to dissolve properly the powdered part of our formulation Next is the Borax and excellent corrosion inhibitor ”1% 2.5 gram added in it Will add a small quantity of antifoam in it @ 0.1% of total formulation in it Those who want to purchase antifoam ready can buy from us My mobile number is displaying for all those who need antifoam Excellent quality antifoam is available with required quantity Now we have completed antirust and anti foam part of coolant We will check it’s pH at this stage PH of Coolant must be in the range of 8¬10 Now we are check the pH level of our coolant So that we could decide the addition of next ingredient in it So that we could achieve our required pH Now it’s pH is showing in between 7¬8 PH 8 is also acceptable We will add just 1% TEA (Triethaolamine)

We have already discussed the formulation of coolant You can check it on my channel We have explained the function of amine as corrosion inhibitor in that Amines by it self are pH boosters They enhance the pH and also have excellent function of corrosion inhibition Now it pH is 8.0+ then it’s ok Then there is no need to add any more Now it’s showing pH 10 We have achieved our required pH The antirust and antifoam part of IAT Coolant is ready Now we will add (50%)125 gram MEG in it It will also act as antirust Coolant is now ready We will give green color to our IAT Coolant Sorry we will add preservative in it Can add a mild quantity of 0.1% Sodium Benzoate If any body have DMDM can be added in it We will add 0.1 % Sodium Benzoate in it. Next we will add color in it Our Inorganic Additive Technology Coolant is ready now It is ready to use for cars in the radiator coolant system directly This is the phase to test our product This is coolant tester Due to addition of glycol coolant will act as antifreeze also That at what temperature this coolant will assist as anti freezing agent And protect it from freezing First of all we are testing the plain water with it It completed the suction As indicating the lever must be at this position It at zero level Zero means it does not show any reading Now we are checking our coolant with it It is minus 20 degree Fahrenheit And in degree C it is minus 29 degree

If we can show u in the camera I don’t whether it is clear for you or not It can be seen at this angle As in many areas of Pakistan we are facing the high boiling temperature issues As we have seen it will work below minus 37 degree C and on boiling upto 129 degree c Water boil at 100 degree temperature It we add this coolant in our vehicle The tester showed us that It will raise it’s boiling point to 129 degree C Means our car will not heat up It is an excellent product After this Inorganic Additive coolant demonstration we will discuss about Organic Additive Technology coolant We have completed it’s demonstration
